Tính từ biến thành danh từ với hậu tố '-ness'

Có rất nhiều tính từ trong tiếng Anh mà chúng ta có thể chuyển đổi thành danh từ bằng cách sử dụng hậu tố '-ness'. Một danh từ có hậu tố '-ness. có nghĩa là chỉ trạng thái của tính từ gốc. Ví dụ, "clean" là sạch sẽ, còn "cleanness" là sự sạch sẽ.

Ví dụ: The carefulness of MEC's staff helps students feel comfortable to choose the right courses.

Trong ví dụ trên, "careful" là cẩn thận, "carefulness" là sự cẩn thận.
